The area is like a hidden gem, straight out of a fairytale, with stunning landscapes and a perfect spot for surfing. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. The hotel itself is surrounded by a beautiful garden where dogs can roam freely. We were treated to delicious homegrown eggs for breakfast, and the breakfast spread was generous. The nearby fishing village of Tazones was a true revelation, with amazing seafood and charming restaurants. The hotel's location is peaceful yet conveniently close to the coast and picturesque villages. The rooms were traditionally furnished, spotlessly clean, and comfortable. Despite the language barrier, the staff made sure we had a smooth check-in. We only stayed for one night, but we would definitely return for a longer stay. The hotel is perfect for families, with a lovely garden and play area for children. The cleanliness of the property was exceptional, especially for us with a crawling baby. The breakfast was excellent, and they also provided an extra bed for our little one at no additional cost. our experience at this hotel was fantastic!

We visited this area for a friend's wedding and stayed at Rural Alavera for 2 nights. The hotel was perfect for our needs. Our 2-year-old daughter loved the garden with its animals and play area. The staff was very friendly and accommodating, providing a bed safety guard and potty seat for our daughter. The peaceful location, traditional rooms, and delicious breakfast overlooking the gardens were highlights of our stay. The WiFi issue was resolved promptly by the owner. We would highly recommend this hotel for families and couples seeking a relaxing getaway.
Would recommend this hotel.

The hotel is set in a beautiful location with a lovely garden, perfect for relaxing and enjoying the outdoors. the rooms are pleasant and offer views of the meadows and hillside. the staff is friendly and accommodating, making sure all needs are met. Plus, the breakfast includes delicious homemade jams and eggs from their own chickens.
The shower head in the bathroom needs improvement and tends to spray water in the wrong direction.

The rustic-style room at Hotel Rural Alavera was cozy and charming, giving us a real countryside feel. The private bathroom with a bath/shower combo was convenient for our small kids. We loved the flat-screen TV and patio that added a touch of comfort and relaxation to our stay.
Personally, I found the heating in the rustic-style room a little too warm for my liking.
